The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of 200 USD per person, per night for almost all visitors to Bhutan. Additionally, if payment is made in 美国 dollars from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2027, the SDF is 100 USD.

Travellers who need to leave the airport may obtain a temporary entry 许可证 from immigration. 5-day 口岸签证 (落地签证) for 深圳 if arriving at designated ports of entry from 香港 by land or sea, for stays within 深圳. 3-day 口岸签证 (落地签证) if arriving in 珠海 or 厦门 at designated ports of entry, for stays within the respective city. 15-day 免签入境 for 邮轮 passengers in 旅游团s, if arriving at any 邮轮港口 along 中国's coastline, including but not limited to 天津; 大连; 上海; Lianyungang; Wenzhou; Zhoushan; 厦门; 青岛; 广州; 深圳; Beihai; 海口; 三亚. May further travel inland to all regions of coastal provinces (and equivalents) and 北京. May 申请 a 口岸签证 (落地签证) if travelling for an urgent, qualified reason. Prior clearance for 口岸签证 is highly 建议 or may be denied boarding by airlines.

Nationals of any country can obtain a 落地签证 for a 最长停留 of 45天. Also, the cost is 30 EUR or 50 USD.

落地签证 is only granted at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai airport. South Korean 公民 can also 申请 e-Visa online for 30天. e-Visa holders must arrive via 32 designated airports or 5 designated seaports. An Indian e-Tourist Visa may only be obtained twice within 1 自然年. Foreigners of Pakistani origin or who hold a Pakistani Passport are not eligible for an e-Visa. Foreigners who are not Pakistani 公民/国民, but whose parents or grandparents (either paternal or maternal) were born in, or were permanent residents in 巴基斯坦, are also not eligible for an e-Visa.

As of March 5, 2026, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from traveling to 伊朗 due to the worsening situation in the Middle East.

Since 2004, it has been 建议 to refrain from entering 伊拉克 due to the danger of Al Qaeda, and since August 7, 2007, penalties have been introduced for Koreans entering 伊拉克. Separately, according to Iraqi policy, visitors can enter 伊拉克 with e-Visa.

As of 7 August 2024, due to heightened tensions and instability between 以色列 and 黎巴嫩, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from visiting within 4km from the Lebanese border.

As of November 4, 2025, due to 安全考虑 and threats by Al-Qaeda in the country, the South Korean 政府 has imposed a ban on its 公民 traveling to Mali. Separately, according to visa policy of Mali, visitors must obtain a visa 提前.

May enter using eGate. International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy must be paid upon requesting an Electronic Travel Authority. Holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa or Resident Return Visa may be granted a 新西兰 Resident 落地签证 permitting indefinite stay (pursuant to the Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement), subject to meeting character requirements and obtaining an Electronic Travel Authority prior to departure. As of November 8, 2025, due to 安全考虑, the South Korean 政府 has imposed a ban on its 公民 traveling to all region of Niger, with the exception of Niamey. Separately, according to visa policy of Niger, visitors must obtain a visa 提前.

Nationals of either Koreas seeking to visit the other must 提交 the North/韩国 visitation verification certificate and the Departure card to the Immigration Officer at the immigration port and go through immigration inspection. Also, 公民/国民 of 韩国 must seek governmental authorization before departure.

Since 2006, due to 安全考虑, South Koreans have been requested to refrain from entering Somalia, and since August 7, 2007, Koreans entering Somalia are subject to punishment. Separately, according to Somalia's e-Visa site, visitors can enter Somalia with e-Visa.

As of 29 April 2023, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from visiting Sudan during the Sudanese civil war. Separately, according to visa policy of Sudan, visitors must obtain a visa 提前.

As of 2011 and 2014, due to threats by Islamic State of 伊拉克 and the Levant, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from visiting Syria. Separately, according to Syria's e-Visa site, visitors can enter Syria with e-Visa.

e-Visa also available for stays up to 60天. e-Visa holders can enter through all border points.

When transiting between two non-bordering countries, visitors can obtain a 土库曼斯坦 transit visa for a five-day stay. This must be applied for 提前 at the 土库曼斯坦 Embassy. Visitors must also 提交 copies of the visas for the country of entry into 土库曼斯坦 and the country of departure from 土库曼斯坦. Visa fee is 20 USD.

As of 13 February 2022, due to 安全考虑, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from visiting 乌克兰. Separately, the Ukrainian 政府 grants visa exemption to Koreans (90天 within 180天).

ESTA is 有效期为 2 years from the date of issuance. ESTA is also 须 when entering the country by 邮轮 or land. A Form I-94 is 须 for entry into the 美国 by land. It carries a $30 fee and can be obtained either online or up落地. Visa 须 for 公民/国民 of VWP countries who have travelled or been present in 伊朗, 伊拉克, 利比亚, 朝鲜, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen at any time on or after 1 March 2011 (with limited exceptions), or those who have travelled or being present in 古巴 at any time on or after 12 January 2021, or 公民/国民 of VWP countries who are also 公民/国民 of 伊朗, 伊拉克, 朝鲜, Sudan or Syria. ESTA is 无需 for Guam and Northern Mariana Islands.

As of 21 November 2025, due to 安全考虑, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from visiting the border states of Zulia, Táchira, Apure, and Sucre, excluding their respective capitals and the eastern part of Zulia.

Special permission needed for travel outside Sanaa or Aden. As of 2011 and 2014, due to threats by Islamic State of 伊拉克 and the Levant, the South Korean 政府 bans its 公民 from visiting Yemen. Separately, Yemen introduced an e-Visa system for visitors who meet certain eligibility requirements (group travel of 10 or more people, business trips, and transit etc.).
