Visitors on tours organized to some southern regions by an approved travel agency may obtain a วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง for up to 30 วัน.

30 วัน per trip, but no more than 90 วัน within any 1 calendar ปี for tourism purposes only. Visitors must have a return/ตั๋วเดินทางต่อ and a การจองโรงแรม confirmation. An International Certificate of Vaccination is จำเป็น.

As of 15 April 2023, due to ความกังวลด้านความปลอดภัย, the South Korean government bans its citizens from visiting within 10km from the Azerbaijani border.

Travellers who need to leave the airport may obtain a temporary entry permit from ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง. 5-วัน port วีซ่า (วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง) for Shenzhen if arriving at designated ports of entry from ฮ่องกง by land or sea, for stays within Shenzhen. 3-วัน port วีซ่า (วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง) if arriving in Zhuhai or Xiamen at designated ports of entry, for stays within the respective city. 15-วัน ยกเว้นวีซ่า entry for cruise ship passengers in tour groups, if arriving at any cruise port along จีน's coastline, including but not limited to Tianjin; Dalian; Shanghai; Lianyungang; Wenzhou; Zhoushan; Xiamen; Qingdao; Guangzhou; Shenzhen; Beihai; Haikou; Sanya. May further travel inland to all regions of coastal provinces (and equivalents) and Beijing. May apply for a port วีซ่า (วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง) if travelling for an urgent, qualified reason. Prior clearance for port วีซ่า is highly recommended or may be denied boarding by airlines.

Nationals of any country can obtain a วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง for a ระยะเวลาพำนักสูงสุด of 45 วัน. Also, the cost is 30 EUR or 50 USD.

วีซ่าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ holders must arrive via Félix-Houphouët-Boigny สนามบินนานาชาติ.

Foreigners who are not Pakistani nationals, but whose parents or grandparents (either paternal or maternal) were born in, or were permanent residents in ปากีสถาน, are also ไม่มีสิทธิ์ for an อี-วีซ่า.

As of March 5, 2026, the South Korean government bans its citizens from traveling to อิหร่าน due to the worsening situation in the Middle East.

Since 2004, it has been recommended to refrain from entering อิรัก due to the danger of Al Qaeda, and since August 7, 2007, penalties have been introduced for Koreans entering อิรัก. Separately, according to Iraqi policy, visitors can enter อิรัก with อี-วีซ่า.

As of 7 August 2024, due to heightened tensions and instability between อิสราเอล and เลบานอน, the South Korean government bans its citizens from visiting within 4km from the Lebanese border.

As of 2014, due to threats by Libyan Civil War, the South Korean government bans its citizens from visiting ลิเบีย. Separately, according to ลิเบีย's อี-วีซ่า site, visitors can enter ลิเบีย with อี-วีซ่า.

As of November 4, 2025, due to ความกังวลด้านความปลอดภัย and threats by Al-Qaeda in the country, the South Korean government has imposed a ban on its citizens traveling to มาลี. Separately, according to วีซ่า policy of มาลี, visitors must obtain a วีซ่า ล่วงหน้า.

International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy must be paid upon requesting an Electronic Travel Authority. ผู้ถือ an Australian ผู้อยู่อาศัยถาวร วีซ่า or Resident Return วีซ่า may be granted a นิวซีแลนด์ Resident วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง permitting indefinite stay (pursuant to the Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement), subject to meeting character requirements and obtaining an Electronic Travel Authority prior to การออกเดินทาง. Such travellers are ไม่จำเป็น to pay the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy.

As of November 8, 2025, due to ความกังวลด้านความปลอดภัย, the South Korean government has imposed a ban on its citizens traveling to all region of ไนเจอร์, with the exception of Niamey. Separately, according to วีซ่า policy of ไนเจอร์, visitors must obtain a วีซ่า ล่วงหน้า.

Nationals of either Koreas seeking to visit the other must submit the North/เกาหลีใต้ visitation verification certificate and the การออกเดินทาง card to the ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง Officer at the ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง port and go through ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง inspection. Also, nationals of เกาหลีใต้ must seek governmental authorization before การออกเดินทาง.

Obtainable online, 90 วัน for 200 USD and 180 วัน for 350 USD. Printed วีซ่า authorization must be presented at the time of travel.

As of 2011 and 2014, due to threats by Islamic State of อิรัก and the Levant, the South Korean government bans its citizens from visiting ซีเรีย. Separately, according to ซีเรีย's อี-วีซ่า site, visitors can enter ซีเรีย with อี-วีซ่า.

อี-วีซ่า also available for stays up to 60 วัน. อี-วีซ่า holders can enter through all border points.

When transiting between two non-bordering countries, visitors can obtain a เติร์กเมนิสถาน วีซ่าทรานซิต for a five-วัน stay. This must be applied for ล่วงหน้า at the เติร์กเมนิสถาน สถานทูต. Visitors must also submit copies of the visas for the country of entry into เติร์กเมนิสถาน and the country of การออกเดินทาง from เติร์กเมนิสถาน. วีซ่า fee is 20 USD.

Can also be entered on an East Africa วีซ่านักท่องเที่ยว issued by เคนยา or รวันดา. International Certificate of Vaccination จำเป็น.

As of 13 February 2022, due to ความกังวลด้านความปลอดภัย, the South Korean government bans its citizens from visiting ยูเครน. Separately, the Ukrainian government grants การยกเว้นวีซ่า to Koreans (90 วัน within 180 วัน).

ESTA is valid for 2 ปี from the date of issuance. ESTA is also จำเป็น when entering the country by cruise ship or land. A Form I-94 is จำเป็น for entry into the สหรัฐอเมริกา by land. As of 21 November 2025, due to ความกังวลด้านความปลอดภัย, the South Korean government bans its citizens from visiting the border states of Zulia, Táchira, Apure, and Sucre, excluding their respective capitals and the eastern part of Zulia.

Special permission needed for travel outside Sanaa or Aden.
