e-Visum holders must arrive via 32 designated airports or 5 designated seaports. An Indian e-Tourist Visa may only be obtained twice within 1 calendar Jahre. Foreigners of Pakistani origin or who hold a Pakistani Reisepass are not eligible for an e-Visum. Foreigners who are not Pakistani nationals, but whose parents or grandparents (either paternal or maternal) were born in, or were permanent residents in Pakistan, are also not eligible for an e-Visum.

Passengers who have already made an Antrag, at least two Tage before Ankunft, at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affair's e-Visum website and present the submission notification at the Flughafen's visa desk may obtain a Visum bei Ankunft.

Authorities in Iraq have decided to remove the visa-on-Ankunft requirement for nationals of the European Union and several other countries, requiring them to now apply for an e-Visum to enter Iraq through the official platform.
