It is still generally considered a visa exemption, as 90% of eVisitor visas are automatically granted in less than a day for citizens of other eVisitor-eligible countries, with an overall approval rate of 98%. For Romanian citizens, the automatic grant rate is less than 30%, and the overall approval rate, including manually reviewed applications, is around 62%.
