German 公民 born before 1 January 1928 need a visa which will be issued for free if one was not a member of the 纳粹 party or involved in crimes committed during the time of 纳粹 德国. Starting June 1st, 2024, the ETA-IL (电子旅行授权) will open for 申请 submissions as a pilot program for German and American 公民. Applying will be voluntary and exempt from fees. The system will open to other nationalities on July 1st, 2024.
