Afghan citizens are subjected to the calling วีซ่า category, a designation applied to nationals considered to have specific vulnerabilities or risks related to ideology, politics, economy, society, culture, security, or ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง. การอนุมัติล่วงหน้า from the Directorate General of ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง in Jakarta is จำเป็น before applying for a วีซ่า. Nationals who reside in ซาอุดีอาระเบีย (Including Afghan nationality) are able to apply for a วีซ่านักท่องเที่ยว online (วีซ่าเข้าครั้งเดียว for a stay up to 90 วัน).

Applications can be submitted up to 90 วัน prior to travel and must be submitted at least 3 วัน ล่วงหน้า. eTA fee is USD 32.50. Proof of reservation at the hotel where visitors plan to stay is จำเป็น (if staying with friends, an จดหมายเชิญ is also acceptable). Yellow fever vaccination certificate is จำเป็น if coming from endemic countries.

Islamic Emirate of อัฟกานิสถาน passports issued prior to 2004 and after 2021 do not meet the requirements of a หนังสือเดินทาง or certificate of identity under นิวซีแลนด์ ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง law; these passports are therefore unacceptable for travel to นิวซีแลนด์ and visas will not be endorsed in them. Passports issued by the Islamic Republic of อัฟกานิสถาน between 2004 and 2021 are recognised. ผู้ถือ an Australian ผู้อยู่อาศัยถาวร วีซ่า or Resident Return วีซ่า in an acceptable travel document may be granted a นิวซีแลนด์ Resident วีซ่าเมื่อเดินทางถึง permitting indefinite stay (under the Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement), subject to meeting character requirements and obtaining an Electronic Travel Authority before การออกเดินทาง.

To date, no one has been successful in obtaining a Pakistani วีซ่า through the online portal. How Afghans can obtain a Pakistani วีซ่า is by consulting a travel agency or "commission worker," who is often an associate of the Pakistani government operating surreptitiously. They usually charge between 800 USD and 1,000 USD per person to obtain a วีซ่า that is supposed to be ฟรี. In fact, citizens of the U.S., แคนาดา, the U.K., any of the เขตเชงเก้น countries, ออสเตรเลีย, and นิวซีแลนด์ who were born in อัฟกานิสถาน are denied visas or entry for ambiguous reasons.

Visitors may apply for a วีซ่า online under the "Tourist - Own Itinerary" category.

Residents of the สหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ may obtain an อี-วีซ่า through the official Philippine อี-วีซ่า website. A valid Emirati residence วีซ่า must be shown upon an อี-วีซ่า application.

Visitors can apply for a วีซ่า on the Hayya website.

Application can be submitted up to 30 วัน before travel. Visitors must upload a reservation confirmation(s) for each visitor's location of stay in เซเชลส์. Yellow fever vaccination certificate is จำเป็น if coming from endemic countries. Payment of the fee (EUR 10) by credit or debit card. Valid for one journey only and it expires once exit the country.

Effective June 9, 2025, U.S. visas will no longer be issued to citizens of 12 countries, with certain exemptions. Afghans who worked for or on behalf of the U.S. Government, ISAF, or R.S. for more than one ปี may be มีสิทธิ์ for a Special Immigrant วีซ่า Afghans who have worked for US-based NGOs, media organizations, or for/on behalf of the U.S. government for less than one ปี may be มีสิทธิ์ for Refugee Admissions Program Priority 2 Designation
